Rehoboth Beach

By Lynn Lopez

Located in Delaware, Rehoboth Beach is one of the places in the United States which has most often been named the Nation's Summer Capital, seeing a great number of visitors from nearby places such as Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Pennsylvania during the summer months. And no wonder: It offers plenty of seaside activities, plays host to numerous events, and is also notable for its attractions.

The Mile-Long Boardwalk is one of the most popular hotspots on Rehoboth Beach and has been consistently listed as one of the top boardwalks in the country. Bikers can traverse the boardwalk from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. from May to September.

From late July to early October, dolphins can also be sighted off the coast, which makes for great dolphin watching cruises.

Bandstand concerts frequently take place during summer.

Bike rental shops abound and going around by bike will offer you a leisurely way to enjoy Rehoboth Beach.

Rehoboth Beach offers some of the best deep sea fishing in this part of the country.

The Rehoboth Beach area has numerous dining options, as well.

Tours offered by companies such as Fisherman’s Wharf will allow you to take a peek at the resort community.
